First Post

Hi! I'm studying in Saint Paul MN this semester and I'm excited!
I leave Boston to go to MSP airport on the 8th of december. I'm sure my family will miss me, and it will be a long time until i see my friends again. I can't wait to arrive in Saint Paul and meet all the interesting people in my program. I've signed up for 4 extremely interesting classes and I'm living in a house off campus with four other students.
Class 1: Cultural Psychology - Psychology is exciting, i'm interested in what makes people tick. I think I have a good innate sense of psychology. I'm a psych major.
Class 2: Research in Psychology 2 - This class should be easy, I think it is about experiment design.
Class 3: Distress, Dysfunction, and Disorder - I'm excited for this class, it's an abnormal psychology class and I like learning about different mental illnesses. I'm reading a book right now called "Listening to Prozac".
Class 4: Environmental Ethics - This class should be cool. I don't like ethics but I think there is some interesting thinking going on about the earth and the environment and I think this class will expand my horizons.

Roommate 1: Anna - Anna just got back from France! and she will be doing mock trial with me in the spring. She is cool, I hope shell be okay living with 4 guys.
Roommate 2: Jackson - Jackson just got back from Hungary, I saw Mission Impossible yesterday and the beginning takes place in Budapest, and then I thought, wow jackson must have had some really cool adventures on these streets.
Roommate 3: Chris - Chris is from North Dakota and he is practically an amateur body builder. I eat more protein when he's around.
Roommate 4: Jesse - Jesse lives in the basement.

I'm apprehensive about the coming year but very excited to experience all the cool things that will happen. I'm turning 21, competing in mock trial, taking 4 amazing classes, living with 4 amazing people and it should be a good spring. I'll keep myself open to the possibilities of everything to come! This is an important step in my life
